Court Jails Man 6 Months for Instigating Mob Action Against FRSC Officials in Adamawa



Chief Magistrate Court 1sitting in Yola, Adamawa State presided by Mohammed Njidda, has convicted and sentenced Nuhu Isah to 6 Months imprisonment for instigating mob action against FRSC on duty.


The convict was given an option of N20,000:00 fine, for criminally intimidating FRSC patrol team.


The defendant; a passer-by, had on 5th of January 2025,  intimidated and further instigated passengers to lynch the FRSC team who were conducting their lawful duty.


Consequent upon this, the convict was apprehended and arraigned before the court for the offences of obstructing marshalls on duty and criminal intimidation contrary to section 10 (9) FRSC establishment act 2001.
