Creation of Chiefdoms, Emirates in Good Fate, Fintiri Tells Critics




Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, of Adamawa State says there no going back in the creation of Chiefdoms and Emirates, calling on critics to sheath their sword and support government's decision.


According to him, the creation of Chiefdoms and Emirates was a major decision taken in good fate and and in the best interest of the state with heterogenous entity.


The Governor made this known while receiving the National Executive Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Commission, Bishop Stephen Victor Adegbite in his office at the Government House in Yola.


He stated that those criticizing the government's decision may be disappointed because it is already sealed for good.


He stressed that the decision is a fate that should be embraced and supported because it has come to stay not minding criticisms from the opposition.


He explained that government has not closed it doors to communities qualified communities to get similar title, calling on the opposition to pray and support the government to succeed in its quest to carry everybody along.


He revealed that Adamawa State under his administration is working at a speed and it cannot be distracted any longer.


He maintained that his administration will continue serving the citizens equitably irrespective of tribe, religion or inclination.


The NCPWC Executive Secretary Bishop Tunde, who was delightful with the giant strides of the Governor in infrastructure, prayed for him to succeed while steering the wheel of progress in the state.
