Senator Adamawa North Mourns Ex-Chair Mubi South LGC



Senator represented Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai, has expressed sadness over the passing of former Chairman of Mubi South LGC, Alh. Ahmed Bazway who died on the 27th February, 2025.


The Senstor in condolence message to the family and entire Mubi South LGA and his entire electorate, described the departure of the former chairman as a great loss not only to his family but to his entire senatorial district and the state at large.


He said that late Alh. Bazway was more than a political leader but a father, figure, an elder statesman and a beacon of wisdom in their community. 


"His unwavering commitment to the development of Mubi South and Adamawa North Senatorial District was remarkable. His leadership, experience, and dedication to service made a lasting impact on many lives.


"I had the privilege of working closely with him, and I can attest to his integrity, courage, and deep love for his people. His contributions to grassroots governance and community development will always be remembered.


"My heartfelt condolences go to his family, the people of Mubi South, and everyone who was touched by his leadership. I pray that God grants them the strength to bear this great loss and that He grants Alhaji Ahmed Bazway eternal rest." Prayed Rev. Amos.
