Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has vowed not to be deterred by the voices of critics whose objectives is to sow seeds of disaffection within communities.
Fintiri stated this at the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the Paramount Ruler of Michika, HRM, Mbege Ka Michika, Prof. Luka Gadiga, on Thursday.
He said, "My administration is resolute in its determination to achieve success, and will not be deterred by the voices of critics whose primary pastime seems to be sowing seeds of disaffection within our communities under the guise of political manoeuvring".
He said his government is focused in delivering tangible results for the citizens, building a more resilient and prosperous future for all citizens.
Governor Fintiri said "Our commitment extends to poverty alleviation programmes, supporting small and medium enterprises, and promoting green investments. We are also working to improve the ease of doing business in the state and increase internally generated revenue.
"Through these efforts, we aim to build a state where opportunities are accessible while I hope that the traditional institutions will support and even do better.
He posited that his administration remains steadfastly committed to enhancing as well as expanding initiatives designed to drive the socio-economic development of Michika and, indeed, the entirety of Adamawa state.
He stated that he recognises that a thriving society is built upon a strong foundation of opportunity and well-being for all its citizens.
"To this end, we will continue to invest in critical infrastructure, ensuring that our communities have access to the essential services they need to flourish. We will prioritise education, healthcare, and agriculture, understanding that these sectors are vital to creating a prosperous and sustainable future for our people." Fintiri added.
He pointed out that the investments are not merely expenditures; they are strategic seeds sown to cultivate a future where every citizen of Adamawa State has the opportunity to make progress, contribute, and to realise their full potential.
Governor Fintiri stated that his government is empowering communities by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
