Chiefdoms/Emirates: Sen Amos Hails Fintiri for Liberating Communities



The Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai, has hailed Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for creating as well as presenting staff of office to new Chiefs and Emirs.


Sen. Amos Yohanna, made the commendation while fielding questions from newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state, stated  that creation of districts, chiefdoms and emirates has made communities proud.


He explained that the effort of Governor Fintiri led administration in  ceate chiefdoms and emirates has liberated communities and given them sense of belonging and dignity.


According to him, communities that were neglected and oppressed are now free and applauded his effort in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of electorates.


He further described Fintiri as a hero for transforming Adamawa to a modern state and congratulated him for the remarkable achievements recorded in critical sectors.


He used the opportunity and congratulated the new chiefs and emirs for their coronation and presentation of staff of office and wished them peaceful rein, appealing to their subjects to rally round them to enable them lead them well.


Meanwhile, in his goodwill message at the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the Paramount Ruler of Michika, HRM, Mbege Ka Michika, Prof. Luka Gadiga, the Senator congratulated the royal father and his entire subjects.


Senator Amos told the mammoth crowd that his heart swells with joy for being part of the history of liberation, fulfilment and hope as they can now look into the future with hope that the land will grow and bloom and become the envy of other nations.


He said when God wants to do something in the lives of a people, he raises an individual and that it pleases him at this time in the history of Adamawa state to raise Governor Fintiri, saying that the Governor has become a worthy instrument of justice.


"God will continue to bless you, your wife and entire family because you have written your name in gold. No generation in Adamawa state will ever forget about you". Sen. Amos said.


He noted with delight that Michika today has a gravitational centre of unity that the men and women of Adamawa state can run to so that together they can build the land, saying that the name of Michika is prominently elevated and blessed.
