The President and Founder of Emnamu foundation, Dr. Emmanuel Musa has applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for creating 7 new emirates and chiefdoms in the state.
Dr. Musa, described the creation as a step towards conflict resolution strategy across communities in the state who had agitated for the creation of the chiefdoms and emirates over the years.
He made this known while speaking to newsmen at the coronation and presentation of staff of office to Tol Hoba His Royal Majesty, Alheri Bulus Nyako in Hong LGA.
The coronation and presentation of the staff of office to the new Tol Hoba which took place at the temporary site of the college of education Hong marks a new chapter in the history of Hong over 120years after its chiefdom was reduced to district head by colonial masters.
The restoration of the chiefdom by the Fresh Air Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, was in line with his administration's policy that no one will be left behind and no sector will be left out.
The president and founder of the foundation, Dr Musa, who graced the historic event along side members of the foundation across the 21 LGA, said that history has been made in Adamawa State with the giant steps taken by Governor Fintiri for creating additional emirates and chiefdoms.
According to him, the traditional institutions as such they will help enormously in fostering unity and development across the state.
He called on the entire people of the state to support the policies and programmes of government and as well give maximum cooperation to the newly crowned traditional rulers in the state.
While calling on the entire people of Hong to support the new Tol Huba, he described the Tol as a man of proven integrity.
The venue was filled to capacity with friends of the royal family, and visitors across all walks of life to witness history in the making as they were entertained with the display of culture and tradition.
