Just In: 112 Inmates Released, 84 Convicted, 69 Granted Bail in Adamawa



No fewer than 112 inmates have been released from Jimeta as well as Yolde Pate Custodial Centres respectively in Yola, Adamawa state. News Platform 


The Adamawa State Jail Delivery Committee headed by the Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman, discharged the inmates during jail delivery at the 2 custodial centres.


The committee also convicted 84 and granted bail to 69 and reviewed the sentences of 16 from the 2 custodial centres housing over 700 inmates.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
