Adamawa Progressive Elders Laud Nentawe's Election as APC National Chair



The Adamawa Progressive Elders Council, under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Muhammadu Buba Marwa (Rtd), has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his well-deserved election as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). 


The congratulatory message is contained in a statement signed by Ahmad I. Sajoh, Head of Media and Publicity Adamawa Progressive Elders Council.


According to the statement, the momentous occasion marks a significant milestone, not only for Prof. Yilwatda but also for the entire members of the Progressive family in Nigeria. 


It said his election is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, unwavering dedication, and the trust he has garnered within the APC. 


"We are immensely proud to see a man with acknowledged progressive credentials such as Prof. Nentawe, assume this important role at this critical moment in our history," stated General Marwa, Chairman of the Adamawa Progressive Elders Council. "His election is a victory for the people of Nigeria and a demonstration of the APC's commitment to inclusivity and progress. 


The elders said that they have full confidence in his ability to lead the party to greater heights and contribute to the overall development of our nation. 


The council pledged its full support to him and offers its prayers for his success as he steers the APC towards a brighter future. 


“We urge all members of the party and indeed all Nigerians, to rally around him and work together to achieve the party's goals and contribute to the betterment of our society", it added.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
