Senator Adamawa North Graces EYN General Church Council



The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Amos K. Yohanna, has graced the 79th General Church Council (GCO) Majalisa of the Ekklisiyar Yan'uwa a Nigeria (EYN).


Senator Amos, had while gracing the event held at Kwarhi, headquarters of EYN in Adamawa state, applauded the unwavering commitment of the church to prayers and moral guidance.


"I joined Christian faithful at the 79th General Church Council (GCC) Majalisa of the Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), held at its Headquarters in Kwarhi, Mubi, alongside my friend, Ambassador Kevin Peter.



"The gathering brought together church leaders and members from across the country, offering not just a time for spiritual renewal, but also an opportunity to reflect on the vital role of faith in shaping our society", Senator Amos stated.


Addressing the congregation today, Senator Amos, acknowledged the unwavering commitment of the Church to prayer and moral guidance. 


He encouraged the Church to remain steadfast in its spiritual responsibility, particularly in sustaining prayers for lasting peace in Adamawa State and across Nigeria.


He used the opportunity and reaffirmed his deep connection to the people I represent, saying "I remain fully committed to advancing policies and initiatives that will drive development and expand opportunities for the people of Adamawa North Senatorial District.


He said that leadership must always be people-focused, with tangible impact felt at the grassroots.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
