The First Lady had on Friday held a crucial meeting with stakeholders, candidates, and elders of the party at the presidential villa to unite the party and ensure they win the 2023 elections at all levels.

The Namdas campaign group which has been serving as a critical support group for the APC both within and outside the state met and applaud the vision of the First Lady and the desire to unite the party.

The group also reviewed its activities over the past few months as well as strategized on the possible ways of supporting and ensuring that candidates of the party at all levels get the desired results before, during, and after the election.

In a communique signed by the leader of the Namdas campaign group, Hon. Abdulrahaman Shuaibu, a former member of the House of Representatives, the group "appreciates unprecedented gesture by Her Excellency the First Lady Aisha Muhammadu Buhari for taking up the leadership and presiding  a meeting comprising the APC candidates, party leadership and critical stakeholders  on the way forward  for the party’s success in the forthcoming general elections  2023."

The campaign organization also "agreed in totality with all the comments made by their principal in the said meeting with the First Lady and promised to work assiduously with other critical stakeholders to ensure the party’s victory at all levels."

The organization further appreciates the honor done to their leader, Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas for being appointed to two critical committees of the Presidential Campaign Council with the view to ensuring victory for APC from top to bottom.

The APC in Adamawa state was recently plunged into crisis following the annulment of its governorship primary elections by a high court sitting in Yola, and the resignation of some members of its State Working Committee.

The Namdas group however resolved to remain "neutral on the Governorship tussle pending the determination of the suit by the Yola division of the appeal court which has reserved the matter for judgment.
