Over 70,000 people from Adamawa state and environs are expected to attend a Global Crusade with Pastor(Dr.) W. F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church.
The event tagged Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) is slated for Thursday 24th to Tuesday 29th, November, 2022, at the Deeper Unity Camp Ground Kwanan Waya along Numan road.
The 6-day crusade with the theme,"The Power That Never Fails" is expected to be graced by over 70, 000 people cut across the state and environs.
The Chairman Local Organising Committee, Pastor(Prof) A. A Adebayo, disclosed this while addressing newsmen at the Deeper Life Bible Church headquaters on Thursday.
He stated that they targeted 70, 000 participants are those from Adamawa and environs not to talk of tens of thousands of people who view the GCK live in Nigeria and across the nations of the world.
"For over a year now, Pastor (Dr.) W. F. Kumuyi of the Deeper Christian Life Church has been organising a monthly Global Crusade from different locations in Nigeria, " Prof Adebayo, revealed.
According to him, these crusades are normally hosted at Alpha Locations (where the Convener ministers physically) and transmitted via satellite, social media platforms and on other electronic media to different locations across the globe where congregations and individuals connect in real-time.
He explained that the crusade which is organised for everybody will hold from 5pm daily, while the Church Ministers and Professional conference from 25 to 29 by 7.00am.
He said that there will be a special youth summit codenamed "Impact Academy for Youths" and that it seeks to address issues that are critical to the wellbeing of the youths (teenagers, campus students. Corps members, young adults on Saturday by 7.00am
On the aspect of security, the Chairman assured that a robust security arrangements have been put in place, saying they have been working with all security agencies, and that they had assured them of full security coverage.
Elaborating on the Impact Academy for Youths summit, the Head of Media and Publicity, Pastor Abel Lakyam, pointed out that people need some level of comfort at this critical time.
Pastor Abel, added that the coming of the man of God is not just to preach for people to get saved, but he is coming with a word of comfort.
He observed that the political atmosphere is charged and that they need prayers to calm it down.
