ADHA MEMBER HAILS FINTIRI's MOVE TO CONSTRUCT SEBORE-TOLA ROAD




The Member representating Nasarawo Binyeri Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Nashon Gubi, has lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for capturing Sebore -Tola road in 2023 budget.


According Hon. Umar, arrangements have been put in place for the flag off the construction of the road in his constituency by Governor Fintiri.


The Lawmaker and the Chairman House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs made the commendation while speaking to Assembly Correspondents in Yola.


He lamented huge losses incurred by farmers due to the deplorable condition of the road, expressing optimism that the situation will soon become a history.


He applauded Fintiri’s priority on roads construction both in urban snd rural communities, saying that good road network will bring communities closer to the government.


Hon. Umar, who is the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for the constituency, revealed that the development can only reach such areas if there are good roads, and that it will boost agricultural activities and ease the movement of goods and services.


According to him, road projects are the testimony to Gov Fintiri’s determination to ensure even development, enhance revenue profile as well as encourage to go to the farms.


While highlighting some of the achievements he recorded within since assumption of office, Hon. Umar, said that as representative of his people, he had impacted positively in the lives of his electorate.


He said that he had drilled and rehabilitating of hand pump boreholes,  provided portable drinking water, quality health care delivery service, facilitated employment of youth in various institutions, ministries and agencies.


He said that he had offered educational support programs including payment of school fees and scholarship award to students studying at various institutions of higher institutions.


In the areas of agriculture, the lawmaker said he provided farming inputs to farmers for both rainy and dry season farming, adding that he procured and Installed transformers, rehabilitation of hospitals and schools among others.


Hon. Nashon added that he presented multi million naira cash assistance to youth, women, politicians, supporters and other pressure groups irrespective of their political affiliation as part of his empowerment program to enable them feel the impact of electing him.


Meanwhile, in the spirit of yuletitude, Hon. Umar, visited communities across the constituency to celebrate Christmas and New Year with them.


The lawmaker and his entourage were warmly recieved by his people, indicating their total support to his candidacy and the PDP large ahead of fourtcoming 2023 elections as Coalition of Supports Groups organized an endorsement program in respect of his second term bid.


He also received decampees from different political parties to the PDP as  according to them, their decision to join the ruling party in the state followed the dividends of democracy provided by the member.


Speaking separately during the visit, Hon. Umar Nashon Gubi who expressed appreciation over the unprecedented crowd and show of love received from his constituents said, he will continue to work towards meeting the yearning and aspirations of his people.


Chairmen of the party and other stakeholders cut across wards visited by the lawmaker while speaking separately and expressed confidence in all the PDP candidates, adding that their concern is to ensure party's victory come 2023.


Among the high profile personalities who accompanied the lawmaker include; Hon. Titus Samaila DG UNG Campaign Team, Hon. Mahmood Dabo Secretary Campaign Team, Hon. Dauda Gah PDP Assistant State Legal Adviser, Chairman UNG Campaign Council, and Hon. Abdulrasheed Abubakar who lost ticket in the APC and joined UNG Team.


Others are; Hon. Muhammadu Usman Buji, the Executive Chairman Mayo-belwa L.G.C, former and serving Political Appointees from the Constituency, PDP Executives, Leaders of the Political Pressure groups among other party members and teeming supporter's of the movement.
