The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas, has expressed shock over the death of the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), DIG Ibrahim Lamorde (rtd).
Iya Abbas In a condolence message through his Yola Media Office on behalf of the people of Adamawa Central, described the death of the Former Anti Corruption Czar as a great lost not only to his family and colleagues but the entire Adamawa state and the country at large.
While consoling the government and people of Adamawa state and the country as a whole, Senator Iya Abbas said the former DIG died when his wealth of experience is much more needed in addressing national issues.
He also extended his condolences to Lamorde’s immediate and extended families and other colleagues of the DIG in the NPF and the EFCC.
Iya Abbas also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the members of his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
