The Adamawa State Command has arrested a 30 years old man for allegedly assaulting his step daughter sexually.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Ngurore, said that the suspect was arrested on the 1st May, 2024.
He said that the command arrested one Idi Adamu, a 30-year-old resident of Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government, for sexuality assaulting his one-year-old step daughter.
SP Ngurore added that the arrest followed a complaint lodged to police by the Mother of the victim who happens to be the wife to the accused.
