NEW CAN EXCO VISIT MBULA, BATTA, LUNGUDA FIRST CLASS CHIEFS



The new leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa State Chapter has paid a courtesy visit on Three (3) First Class Chiefs in Numan Federation.


So far, the CAN Exco have paid the visit on their royal highnesses, the Murum Mbula, Murum Bwaltam B. Biyapo, Hama Batta, Humon Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke and the Kwandi Nunguraya, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda.


Speaking at the palaces of the paramount rulers respectively, the new CAN Chairman, Rev. Dr. Joel Danjuma Manzo, said that they were at the palaces to pay homage on the royal fathers.


Rev. Dr. Joel, explained that they visited the palaces primarily to express their profound gratitude for what he described as the royal fathers uncommon love and consistent support to the Christian body within their jurisdictions and the state at large.


He added that they were at their palaces to identify and cherish their unbiased principles in adding values in the lives of their subjects and how they allowed themselves to be used by God in advancing his kingdom and for the betterment of his humanity.


He disclosed that Adamawa CAN remains indebted to them for their kindheartedness to its activities at various levels and thanked them for being supportive to the organisation  and the Church.


He appealed to all sons and daughters, political class in their in their respective chiefdoms to deliberately support and proactively listen to the voices of their traditional institutions with undivided attention,  genuine love and absolute obedience in order to foster viable peace and harmony and for spiritual and socioeconomic advancement.


The CAN Boss prayed God to grant them sound wisdom to successfully steer the affairs of their various kingdoms, and promised to work assiduously for the progress of CAN and the Christian body in the state.


Responding while receiving the delegation at his palace, the Murum Mbula, Murum Bwaltam B. Biyapo, thanked Almighty God for making it possible for them to visit him and congratulated them on their election.


Murum Mbula told them that politing the affairs of the body of Christ is not an easy tasks and assured them of his support and prayers to enable them succceed.


According to him, good governance is all about protecting the interest of the people and urged him to follow the foot steps of his predecessor, advising him not to allow pressure to change his character.


Also speaking at his palace, the Hama Batta, Humon Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke, assured CAN of his necessary support and constructive advice where necessary to enable him succeed.


Homun Alhamdu, urged him to build on where the outgoing Chair, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza stopped, saying that the traditional rulers had had a cordial and peaceful relationship with the former Exco, and that they are expecting such relationship to continue.


The royal father stated that he has confidence in the new CAN Chairman that he will deliver on his mandate and further advised him to carry all the denominations along in the scheme of things.


On his part, the Kwandi Nunguraya, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda, congratulated them and at the same time appreciated their visit, appealing to them to protect the intetest of their people.


He assured them of their readiness as traditional rulers to stand by them in the course of discharging their official responsibilities, and used the opportunity and commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing enabling environment for peace to rein in the state.
