The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has mourned the death of the member representing Ganye constituency, Hon. Abdulmalik Musa Jauro.
Late Abdulmalik, who died in India over the weekend, was buried today at his home town in Ganye Local Government Area.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, on behalf of the members and the entire assembly, sympathised with the immediate constituency of the deceased.
The statement specifically consoled the immediate family of the member and Ganye constituents over the demise of the lawmaker, and described as shocking the sudden death of the member.
The Speaker described late Abdulmalik as a team player, saying that he will be missed greatly and prayed for the repose of the departed.
Until his demise, Hon Abdulmalik was the member representing Ganye constituency and Deputy Minority Whip elected under the APC during the 2023 general election.
