Sen Iya Abbas Donates Motorcycles to Boost Security in Hong LGA



As part of his effort to boost security in Hong LGA in Adamawa Central Senatorial District, the Senator representing the District, Aminu Iya Abbas has donated 10 motorcycles to local security operatives in Hong LGA. 


Speaking while donating the motorcycles at palace of Tol Huba in Hong LGA, Aminu Iya Abbas said the gesture was part of his commitment towards ensuring peace and security to the area. 


Senator Iya Abbas, who was represented by the Chairman Hong LGC, Hon. Inuwa Usman Waaganda, appreciated all security operatives in the area for working towards ensuring people sleep with their two eyes closed.


While saluting the security agencies for their contribution in the society, reaffirmed his commitment towards providing basic needs of his constituents. 


He also called for more collaboration between the security and the communities especially Police, Army, and the local security operatives like the Hunters and VGN by reporting suspicious movement of strangers or any person with questionable character. 


Speaking at the event at his palace, His Royal Majesty, the Tol Huba Mr. Alheri Bulus Nyako commended Senator Aminu Iya Abbas for his unwavering support and generosity which underscores the critical importance of collaborative efforts between the Police, Army, Hunters, Vigilantes and other critical stakeholders. 


The Royal father said the provision of the motorcycles will boost the morale of the local security operatives by enhancing their operational efficiency and response readiness. 


Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries the groups expressed their profound gratitude to Senator Aminu Iya Abbas for his support and assured that the equipment would be utilized effectively to enhance security across the area.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
