A 500-Level Student of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Adamawa state, Paul John,  has been apprehended for allegedly creating fake social media accounts. The 24 years student who hails from Jiddel in Michika LGA, was nabbed for creating multiple social media accounts with alleged intention of extorting money. This is contained in a release by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje and made available to newsmen in Yola. The accused was alleged to have used the pictures of unsuspecting women without their consent on social media accounts he had created. Adamawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday, approved an external virement of the sum of N4.5billion for the payment of scholarship in respect of 100 students studying at various universities in Turkey.
