Sen Iya Abbas Congratulates Newly Elected PDP Ward Exco



The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas has congratulated 226 newly elected ward Exco of People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa. 


Senator Iya Abbas in a statement through his media office in Yola Saturday, encouraged the ward executive to justify the confidence reposed in them by the party members. 


Senator Iya Abbas who doubles as Chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology also commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the state leadership of the party for providing a level play ground for all party members across the 21 LGA's in the state


Abbas, while commending the democratic process that brought ward exco into office  described them as political grassroots

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
