Just In: ADHA Receives N621.288billion Supplementary Budget from Fintiri

 


Adamawa State House of Assembly has received the whopping N621.288billion being 2025 approved supplementary estimate for the services of the state. News Platform 


The assembly received the supplementary estimate tagged, "A law to further issue and appropriate the sum of N621,288,245,923.00 being 2025 approved supplementary estimate for the services of Adamawa state for the year 2025 which include statutory".


Already, the assembly presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has read the bill for the 1st and 2nd time during Tuesday plenary following a motion by the Majority Leader, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno (Demsa).


Fielding questions from newsmen after plenary, the Majority Leader and Member representing Demsa Constituency, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno, said that the Governor presented the budget to the assembly for scrutiny and other legislative action.


Hon. Kate Mamuno, said that the supplementary budget is for grassroots development, adding that the budget is for the construction, rehabilitation of rural roads, schools, hospitals among other critical infrastructure.


The female lawmaker said that the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, led administration had provided basic infrastructure at the state capital, and that the Governor is extending the execution of developmental projects to the LGAs.


According to her, the Governor saw the need to provide rural communities with social amenities; hence, the presentation of the supplementary estimate for the development of rural communities.


She added that some communities across their constituents have bad roads, explaining that most of the roads are captured in the budget and assured that their constituents will witness the execution of the projects.


She noted that the budget has captured old Demsa-Sabon Gari road in her Constituency, saying that whenever the Governor has promised to do something, he fulfills it for the benefits of the citizens.
