PDP Congress: Iya Abbas Commends Exercise, Congratulates Newly Elected LG Exco



The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas has congratulated the newly elected LG exco of the PDP in Adamawa state.


In statement through AIA Media Office in Yola, Aminu Iya Abbas described the LG congress of the party which took place at the respective LGAs in  the state as peaceful and commendable. 


Senator Abbas, further saluted all the PDP members for their commitment which ensured one of the most peaceful congress across the local government areas.


The lawmaker described the way and manner in which PDP congress committee and the state leadership of the party conducted the LG congresses as commendable, adding that it is a prove that the party is intact and well organized.


Aminu Iya Abbas charged them to live up to the expectations and ensure that they have justify the confidence reposed in them by the party faithful by working towards another victory of the party in the state come 2027.


While wishing them a successful tenure in office, the Senator reaffirmed his commitment towards ensuring the success of the party under the leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
