Speaker Bathiya Congratulates New PDP Leadership in Adamawa



The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has congratulated the newly elected Exco of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Alh. Hamza Bello Madagali. 


Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley in a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard said the peaceful conduct of the congress is an indication that PDP family in Adamawa state remains intact with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as its leader. 


He said that the spotmanship demonstrated by all stakeholders in the party has indicated that PDP is still waxing stronger in the state and is committed to face the 2027 elections. 


The Speaker noted that Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali being organizing secretary of the party for two term has all it takes to move the party to greater heights. 


While calling on all members of the party to give the new leadership necessary support Rt. Hon.Bathiya Wesley also called on the Exco to put party first in all their dealings.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
