RAMADAN: HON. AHMADU SENDS BEST WISHES TO CONSTITUENTS, URGES PRAYERS AGAINST COVID-19

In the spirit of Ramadan, the Adamawa state House of Assembly Member representing Leko Koma constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Ahmadu has enjoined Muslim faithful to devote themselves in prayers and supplications for unity and peaceful coexistence.

Hon. Ahmadu further charged Muslims and non Muslims alike in his constituency and the state in general to intensify prayers for Allah to bring an end to the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the society, saying that the society is in dire need of urgent prayers against the spread of the disease.

The Lawmaker had while wishing Muslim Umma a fruitful, rewarding and hitch-free Ramadan, prayed Allah to grant their supplications and answer to their prayers so as to heal societal ills such as Covid -19, kidnapping among others.

He admonished them to commit themselves to doing things that are worthy in the eyes of the Almighty Allah, promote a sense of belonging in Leko Koma and Adamawa in general, encourage good neighbourliness, indulge in patriotism and charitable conduct, and be honest and transparent for peace, unity and development.

According to him, the Holy Month of Ramadan annually provides greater opportunity for all Muslims to purify themselves and their hearts by engaging in a month long fasting, and urged them to offer special prayers as well as seek for forgiveness from Almighty Allah.

He reiterated his commitment towards ensuring good representation before the end of his tenure, and appealed to them to give him necessary support and corporation to enable him deliver on his mandate.

Hon. Abdullahi Ahmadu further wished his colleagues, All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Leko Koma, Jada Local Government Area and in the state as well as Muslim community in general a successful and spiritually gratifying Ramadan fast.
