ADHA DEP SPEAKER WISHES MUSLIMS FRUITFUL RAMADAN, CALLS FOR PRAYERS

Deputy Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo has extended his heartfelt wishes to Muslim community in his constituency as well as in the state in general on the occasion of the commencement of this year's Ramadan fast.

However, he urged them to pray fervently for the end of the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic claiming tens of thousands of innocent lives across the globe, insisting that there is no better time for people to seek continued intervention of God other than now.

While praying for successful completion of the fast, the Deputy Speaker who is also the member representing Numan constituency, appealed to the faithful to be committed in their prayers and supplications during the period.

Rt. Hon. Pwamwakaino in a message felicitating with the Umma on the occasion of commencement of Ramadan, tasked them to put their good virtues into practice and make justice and righteousness the guiding principles.

The Lawmaker called on them to continue to demonstrate in their lives, the good virtues so as to engender the peace and unity needed for growth and development of Numan and Adamawa state in general, and called on them to rally round the government of the day for it to success.

On Covid-19 which is inflicting and threatening the existence of humanity, the Member commanded the measures taken by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri towards curtailing the spread of the pandemic, saying all hands must be on deck towards ending the disease.

The Deputy Speaker pledged to do his best so as to provide his constituency with people oriented representation, and appreciated their support and corporation since assumption of office.
