Newly elected officials of the Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), Adamawa state chapter on Wednesday endorsed the current Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in the state, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza.
The leadership of the organisation made the endorsement while paying a courtesy visit on the Chairman Association who is also the Catholic Bishop Yola Diocese in Yola today.
Speaking while leading other elected officials of the organisation during the courtesy visit, the Chairman of the organisation, Apostle S.O Makinde, expressed satisfaction with the leadership style of Bishop Dami Mamza, and described him as a leader worthy of emulation.
Apostle Makinde, pledged the total support and cooperation of the organisation on the leadership of the chairman, saying that the giant strides recorded by the Chairman are speaking loudly for him, and that the OAIC will continue to identify with him and his leadership.
According to Apostle Makinde, the organisation is feeling the impact of the dynamic leadership of Bishop Mamza, and urged him to continue with the good work he started.
The Chairman disclosed that Bishop Mamza has touched many lives, and is also working tirelessly in uniting the Christendom at all course and pledged to support him, calling on the Christian community to rally round him so that many good things will continue to happen in the body of Christ.
Responding, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza thanked them for their visit and assured them of commitment on the path of justice.
Mamza, disclosed that CAN, under his leadership will continue to work for he progress of the Christendom, urging them to always pray for CAN and state at large.
Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza said he has since sanitised CAN Adamawa State, and will not relent in doing what will give CAN a good name, because he is working for all Christians in the State.
