In a bid to cushion the economic hardship amongs his electorate, the Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai (aka RAY), has distributed over 4,000 bags of rice to his constituents.
The beneficiaries of the food support cut across Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Local Government Areas which comprise Northern Senatorial Zone.
Interestingly, the distribution, which is still going on, will be extended to the vulnerable, elderly men and women, youth, widows, Persons Living with Disabilities and among others in the 5 LGAs.
Sen. Rev. Amos, has embarked on distribution of the bags of rice to thousands of his electorate in the LGAs as an immediate relief amidst the prevailing economic challenges confronting the nation.
According to the PDP Senator, the distribution of the food items is to cushion the effects of the current economic hardship in the country.
While promising to provide his electorate with quality representation, Senator RAY promised to sustain welfare support to the good people of Adamawa Northern Senatorial District.
Sen. Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai, thanked them for their support and cooperation , and urged them not to relent in order to enable him represent them effectively.
Several beneficiaries of the kind gesture applauded the Senator and noted that the food items will greatly benefit them and their family members.
The electorate urged him to do more for his electorate, so as to reduce the hardship being encountered not only in the District but across the nation, and wished him a successful tenure.
