JUST IN: ADAMAWA GETS NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

 


The new Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, deployed to Adamawa State Police Command has assumed duty as the 32nd CP.


CP Dankombo took over from CP Afolabi Babatola, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) and redeployed to higher responsibility as AIG  in charge of zone 3 Headquarters Supervising Adamawa and Taraba States.


A statement by the image maker of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that CP Dankombo hails from Kaltungu Local Government Area of Gombe State. 


According to the statement, the new CP holds a BA (Hons) in History, from University of Maiduguri, Borno State and MA International Relations.


He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in the year 1992 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police and rose through ranks.
