SEN. ABBAS CONDOLES GOVT, CITIZENS OVER MAJ. GEN. GARBA'S DEMISE



The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas has commiserated with the Adamawa state government over the death of Maj. Gen. M. H. Garba.

Sen. Abbas, also sympathised with the citizens as well as Hong Local Government in particular, over the death of Maj. Gen. M. H Garba, who died after a brief illness at Cedar Crest Hospital Abuja on Wednesday. 


The Senator in a condolence message through his Yola Media Office and made available to newsmen Thursday, described the death of late Garba Hong as a huge loss not only to his family but the state and the country as whole. 


Sen. Iya Abbas who hails from same LGA with the deceased, extolled the virtues, saying that over the years, the deceased had demonstrated patriotism and professionalism in the discharge of his duties.


While extending his heartfelt condolences to the families of the Rtd, General, Abbas prayed to God to grant the departed soul eternal rest and give the members of his immediate and extended family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 


He said, “On behalf of the people of Adamawa Central Senatorial district, I sympathize with the Nigerian Army Forces and indeed the people Adamawa State and Nigeria in General.
