Barely Four Days to the commencement of Ramadan fast, the Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai, (Ray) has distributed food items to the electorate, especially the Muslim Ummah.
Essentially, the kind gesture extended to the Muslim faithful by Senator Ray is aimed at cushioning the impact of the economic hardship being faced by Nigerians.
Some of the food items distributed by the Senator include: bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, sugar, wrappers, children clothes, vegetable oil, as well as blankets in the spirit of love and charity to muslim faithful.
It could be recalled that about 3 weeks ago, the Senator distributed 4,000 bags of rice to his electorate across Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South and Madagali LGAs to ameliorate the suffering being experienced by his constituents.
The distribution was extended to the vulnerable, elderly men and women, youth, widows, Persons Living with Disabilities and among others in the 5 LGAs.
More so, the distribution of the food items during Ramadan is part of Sen. Rev. Amos Yohanna's ongoing effort at providing assistance and support to his constituents in the face of harsh economic conditions.
The gesture reflects his commitment and commitment to ensuring that his teeming electorate like others across senatorial districts benefit from good representation.
He expressed his commitment to the well-being of his constituents, saying that Ramadan is a holy month of service, sacrifice and sharing and prayed that these items would complement the efforts of others in assisting those that need the support.
Some of the beneficiaries of the kind gesture commended the Senator for reaching out to them with food items during the holy month of Ramadan and noted that the food items will be of benefit to them and their family members.
