A 24 years old lady, Besty Sabastine along side a man identified as Delegion, have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command in connection to a plot to attack a young lady known as, Sonia Mathew. News Platform
Besty of Jambutu confessed to having hired a 27 years old man known as Delegion of Jambutu to attack Sonia, collect her handset and other valuable items.
Sonia, 27 years old and Besty were living together in the same room as friends for long not until misunderstanding which ensued between them which degenerated into fight.
Since then, the girls were nursing grudges against each other to the point that Besty, who was severely wounded during the fight, decided to engage the young man to attack her and collect her handset.
The plan to attack Sonia could not be successful as a man, who got wind of it, volunteered and informed her about it leading to the arrest of the 2 suspects.
While at the police headquarters in Yola, Adamawa State Capital, Besty confessed that she had actually hired the man and denied ever sponsoring a "Shila" boy to attack anybody.
On his part, Deligion said that Besty, who is like a Sister to him had actually engaged him to attack her friend but denied being a "Shila" boy.
The Spokesman of the Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, assured that the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution on completion of investigation.
