ADAMAWA: 6 IN POLICE NET FOR RECEIVING STOLEN TRICYCLES



The Adamawa State Police Command has recorded another achievement by arresting 6 suspects for allegedly receiving stolen tricycles.


The Spokesman of the Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the suspects were nabbed on the 20th March, 2024.


According to him, an effort by the officers attached to SCID Yola led to the arrest of the 6 suspects.


The suspects include Idi Abdullahi, 20, resident of Rumde Baru, Yola North LGA, Mohammad Tukur, 21, Abubakar Idrisa, 23and Umar Hassan, 33, resident of Rimergo, Borno State, Umar Yusha'u, 26, of Mubi South LGA, Usman Ladan, 22, of Rumde Baru, Jimeta Yola North LGA.


He said that the principal suspects were immediately charged to court and since remanded at Correctional Center pending investigation.


"The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, had commended the effort and dedication demonstrated by the officers of Anti "Shilla" Squad for apprehending the suspects," he added.


He urged the general public to remain vigilant and continue partnering with Police and other Law enforcement agencies to rid our communities of criminal elements.
