Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have apprehended no fewer than 15 suspected "Shila" boys terrorising the state capital.
According to the command, the operatives recovered 4 sharp daggers, 3 Knives, 2 Handsets, N19,000, and Hard drugs, amongst others.
The Command in a statement by the PPRO, SP, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said the suspects were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday 13th March 2024.
The suspects include: Adamu Abdullahi , 17, Hassan Mohammed 9, Abdullahi Yusuf, 18, Abdulrazak Abubakar, 19, Ibrahim Umar, 19, Mohammed Zakaria,14, Mohammed Auwal,16.
Others are; Kabiru Abdullahi, 20, Auwal Adamu, 15, Aminu Adamu , 13, Abdulraham Umar, 16, Amir Mohammed , 15, Anas A. Rufai, 20, Usman Tijjani 15 and Mohammed Abubakar 17.
He explained that the Police at Jimeta Division, Yola North LGA, while in a joint patrol vigilante men along Rumde, engaged eadical "Shila" gangs operating with Sharp Daggers, Knives robbing innocent people of their belongings.
