ADAMAWA CP SUMMONS EMERGENCY SECURITY MEETING OVER PROTEST



Ahead of the planned nationwide protest in August, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankombo, has summoned an emergency security meeting with stakeholders in the state.


CP Dankombo Morris, in a release by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, invited no fewer than 15 unions/organisations for the meeting.


According to him, the meeting will be held on 26th July, 2024 at the Police officers Mess, by 10:00am.


Those invited include, Traditional leaders, Religious leaders, Student Unions leaders,Labour leaders, Chairman NUJ and Gamzaki traders union leaders. 


Others are Rana Tafito Leaders, Leaders of NURTW/ Employers, NGOs, Civil Society Organization (CSOs), National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), Market Women leaders, PCRC state exco, Leaders of Eminent persons forum and Adviser to H E on Peace and Security .
