ADAMAWA POLICE RECOVER 3 YRS OLD BOY SOLD FOR N410,000 BY HIS MOTHER

The Adamawa State Police Command has recovered a 3 years old boy identified as Friday Okonkwo, who was stole and sold for N410,000.

The boy was stole by Blessing Okonkwo, 24 years old and sold to Efunaya Nabufe, 35 years old who reside Mubi North LGA, Adamawa state.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed the recovery in a release to newsmen in Yola, Adamawa State.

According to him, investigations led to the recovery of the abducted child from Efunaya Nabufe, who had taken the boy to her sister in Enugu State.

He said it was further revealed during investigation that Blessing Okonkwo, who sold the boy to Efunaya is the biological mother of the boy and not as she had told police earlier that she is sister to him.

He explained that Hauwa Lawan, who initially claimed to be the mother of the boy is actually his grandmother, saying that Blessing, was impregnated by one Aboi from Onitsha and gave birth to the boy in 2019.
