Rep Kwamoti La'ori's Father to be Laid to Rest July 5

 




Pa Bernard La'ori, father of Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus Laori, Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions who died at the age of 86 will be laid to rest at his hometown, Imburu, Numan, Adamawa State on Saturday July 5, 2025.


According to a statement by his media office, Pa. Bernard La'ori, a seasoned educationist died at the ripe age of 86 on  Saturday, June 28th, 2025 after a brief illness at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (formerly FMC), Yola, Adamawa State.


According to the statement, the Adamawa State Governor,  Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,  his Deputy and top members of his cabinet as well as the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley,  some  members of National Assembly and  State Assembly legislators earlier  paid Hon. Kwamoti  Laori, a condolence visit in his hometown-Numan.


The statement noted that interment will take place at Imburu, after the funeral service at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Numan, Adamawa State.


The late Pa La'ori  survived by his wife and ten biological children, including Rt. Hon. Kwamoti Bitrus. La'ori.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
