Bill to Establish College of Tech, Innovation, Entrepreneurship Gulak Scales 1st Reading







A bill for a law to establish the Adamawa State College of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Studies Gulak, Madagali LGA has scaled 1st reading at the Adamawa State House of Assembly. News Platform 


The 1st reading of the bill followed a motion by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Ahmed Jingi Belel (Maiha Constituency) and seconded by Hon. Haruna Jilantikiri (Madagali Constituency) during Wednesday plenary.


The legislation has been sponsored by the executive arm to establish the college so as to impart technological, innovative and entrepreneurship training to students to enable them become self-reliant in the society.


After the reading of the bill, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, who presided the plenary, directed the Chairman Rules and Business of the assembly to schedule the bill for 2nd reading.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM. Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga. The leadership of the concerned citizens took a swipe at the erstwhile Governor for disrespecting the Royal Father, Michika Chiefdom and the entire good people of Michika.
