Sen Adamawa North Hails Conferment of Doctorate Degree on Fintiri



The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Amos K. Yohanna, has extended hearty felicitations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree in Public Administration.


Governor Ahmadu Fintiri was on Saturday conferred with Doctorate Degree by the prestigious University of Port Harcourt in recognition of his leadership qualities.


In his congratulatory message on his behalf and entire senatorial district, Senator Amos, rejoiced with the Governor for the honour, saying that the honour is a recognition of his visionary leadership, sterling contributions to governance, and unwavering commitment to public service and the advancement of society.


"Your Excellency, under your stewardship, Adamawa State has witnessed remarkable progress in education, infrastructure, security, and human capital development. Your inclusive style of governance and passion for delivering people-centered policies have rightfully earned you this national and academic commendation.


"As the Senator representing Adamawa North, I proudly celebrate this milestone with you. May this honour continue to inspire you as you steer our dear state toward greater heights", said Senator Amos.

The Chief Magistrate Court II sitting in Yola, Adamawa State has remanded the Chairman Concern Citizens Adamawa State, Alh. Husseini Bello Gambo Nakura in prison custody over multiple offences. News Platform  The court presided by Magistrate M. A. Adamu, remanded the defendant in prison custody and adjourned the case to the 17th September, 2025 for commencement of hearing. Magistrate Adamu ordered the remand of Nakura when he was arraigned before him over multiple allegations slammed against him by the Adamawa State Police Command. Alh. The Michika Concerned Citizens in Adamawa State have blasted the former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna for his outright disrespect to the Paramount Ruler of Michika Chiefdom, HRM.
