The Adamawa state House of Assembly has reconstructed about 25 Standing Committees for the House.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, announced the composition of the committees while presiding over the plenary session on Monday.
The committees include; Selection Committee, to be headed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas, Rules, Business, Ethics and Privileges, Hon. Hammantukur Yettisuri (Jada Mbulo), Public Accounts, Hon. Muhammed Mutawali(Girei), House Services, Hon. Isa Yahaya(Maiha), Public Petition, Public Service and Electoral Matters, Hon. Adwawa Donglock.
Others are; Agriculture, Hon. Simon Isa, (Song), State Security, Border Integration and SDG's, Hon.Ibrahim Musa(Mayo Belwa), Finance, Appropriation and Budget, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno(Demsa), Youths, Sports, Culture and Tourism, Abdullahi Ahmadu, Leko Koma), Education, Tertiary and Professional Institution, Hon. Wesley Bathiya(Hong), Transport, Rural Infrastructure and Community Development, Abdullahi Umar(Toungo), Environment and Natural Resources Development, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa(Yola South).
Others include; Commerce and Industries, Hon. Musa Umar Bororo(Mubi South), Health and Human Services, Hon. Hamidu Sajo Lekki(Yola North), Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abubakar Isa(Shelleng), Information, Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Reintegration and POWECO,Hon. Japheth Kefas(Gombi), Interparliamentary Affairs, Labour and Productivity, Hon. Abdullahi Umar Yapak(Verre), Judiciary and Entrepreneur Development, Rt. Hon. Pwamwakaino Mackondo(Numan), Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Umar Nashon Gubi(Nasarawo Binyeri).
