ADAMAWA NDLEA NABS 54 SUSPECTS, INTERCEPTS 72 KG OF ILLICIT DRUGS


In its renewed efforts to rid the state from drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Adamawa state command says it has succeeded in apprehending 54 suspected drug traffickers in the state.

The command revealed that out of the 54 suspected drug peddlers nabbed from January 2020 to date, 5  had been convicted, and that during the period, it has also intercepted 72.084 kilogram of assorted hard drugs.

The Commander NDLEA in state, Mohammed Bello stated this during a familiarisation visit on the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Iya Abbas in his office today.
