Newly appointed Administrator Borong Development Area, Adamawa State, Hon. Manasseh John Malena has pledged to contribute his quarter towards the development of Borong Development Area in Demsa Local Government Area.
According to him, if finally sworn in as Administrator of the Development Area, he will work hard so as to complement the effort of the government of the day by providing dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.
Hon. John Malena who was speaking to NEWS PLATFORM in Yola, Adamawa state capital Monday said upon assumption of office, he will firstly organise a town hall meeting with the representatives of Borong electorate so that they can brief him on their immediate needs.
He said that he will complement the efforts of the present administration by concentrating on the provision of portable water supply before delving into the provision of infrastructural facilities, saying he hopes to achieve his laudable programmes within 100 days in office.
He however appreciated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for finding him worthy to be appointed so as to serve in that capacity, and members of the state House of Assembly for confirming his appointment.
Hon. Manasse John Malena further thanked the member representing Demsa constituency, Hon. Kate Raymond Mamuno and the executive Chairman Demsa LGC, Hon. Elkanah Kados for their support and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
