BOKO HARAM KILL 18, INJURE 4 IN ADAMAWA COMMUNITY

 


Unidentified gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram have killed not less than 18 people while injuring 4 others in Dabna community in Garaha ward, Hong Local Government Area in Adamawa state.


The hoodlums had during the attack in the early hours of Wednesday, burnt LCCN Church, Awareness Church, 4 shops and a household. 


The Executive Chairman of the LGC, Hon. James Pukuma, who confirmed the attack to NEWS PLATFORM, stated that 18 people were killed while 4 others sustained various degrees of injuries.


He added that the assailants stormed the community around 10 minutes to 6:00am on Wednesday and started killing people.


Hon. Pukuma, described the attack as unfortunate, and appealed to both State and Federal Governments to consider deploying military permanently to the affected area because of its closeness to Sambisa forest.
