In continuation of its humanitarian services to the less privilege in the society, a non-governmental organisation, EMNAMU FOUNDATION has kick started another phase of distribution of relief materials to the poor, less privilege and the aged in Adamawa state.
The flag up ceremony which took place at Kala'a in Hong Local Government Area with the Chairmen and Members of the foundation cut across Hong, Gombi and Song LGAs, collecting the materials for onward distribution to beneficiaries in the 3 LGAs.
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) and Founder of the foundation, Dr Emmanuel Musa, had while addressing the Volunteer Groups via zoom network, commended them for their sacrifices and resilience in carrying out the distribution exercise.
Musa stated that service to humanity is full of God's blessings, hence the need for them to continue to put in more effort to reach out to the needy, and thanked the Volunteers for accepting to serve, assuring them of his commiment towards sustaining the tempo.
He charged them to continue to unite for the progress and development of their communities as effort is being made to bring developments such as provision of social aminities.
Speaking while flagging off the distribution of the items, the State Coordinator EMNAMU FOUNDATION, Kukuya Godwin, said that the event is part of the core objectives of the founder to cater for the less privilege and the poor in the society.
Kukuya, noted that the foundation having considered the current hardship being faced as a result of economic crunch, deemed it necessary to cater for the downtrodden in the society, hence; the distribution of ther materials.
The Coordinator maintained that the Volunteer Groups in various communities will identify real beneficiaries in accordance with the data available to them.
He reiterated that EMNAMU FOUNDATION remains non political, non religious but humanitarian and will continue with its mandate of transforming lives of those that cannot cater for themselves.
On his part, the Chairman Hong Local Government Council, who was represented by his vice, commended the founder for his foresight in assisting the less privilege and called on others to emulate Dr Emmanuel Musa.
In their separate remarks, Imam Ahijo and Pastor Tayani, described Dr Emmanuel Musa as God sent not only to the people of Kala'a and Hong but Nigeria as a whole, noting that the two religious preach on the need for people to assist the needy and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
The Board of Trustee of the foundation, Alhaji Alheri had earlier well come all members of the foundation from the fourty two communities and wish them successful outing.
Members of the volunteer groups have since commenced the distribution of the materials to the targeted beneficiaries.
