The Commissioner of Police Adamawa State, Dankombo Morris, on Friday, decorated 12 newly promoted Police Officers.
The event which took place at the Police Officers Mess, Jimeta, was attended by Ahmed Lawan, the Senior Special Assistant on Peace and Security to the Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as well as many other stakeholders.
Decorating the officers, the CP congratulated them for their well-deserved elevation, and charged them to deploy their intellect and demonstrate sound professional judgement in all their decisions at all times.
He noted that since his assumption office the Community Policing Strategies and strategic management approach is addressing current and emerging security threats in the state.
In his remarks, the SSA to Fintiri congratulated the officers and charged them to see the promotion as a call for improved service to the State.
He assured of the government’s commitment to continue supporting the command in ongoing fight against "Shila"Gangsterism.
The Officers decorated include: CSP Bitrus Wycliffe, DPO Toungo, CSP Ishaku Bala, DPO Jada, CSP Edward Iyadi DPO Hong, CSP John Nwedu, DPO Madagali, CSP Oluwadare Babalola, Officer in charge of Provost, 65pmf Mubi.
Others are CSP Satumary Jasini, DPO Shagari Division, CSP Aaron Ezra Mamza DPO Mubi South, CSP Nemuel Yoila Officer in charge of General investigation (CID), CSP Francis Ojaja Officer in charge of Command Explosive Ordinance Disposal-Chemical Biological, CSP Joseph Jamin Nkuruman DPO Mayo-Belwa and CSP Japhet Ptilabari DPO Michika.
