The Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) has extended its deepest sympathy to the government and people of Borno State over flood disaster which wrecked havoc in the state.
The devastating flood disater which was caused by the embankment failure and overflow from Alau Dam, ravaged the state left citizens counting their losses.
The Electricity Distribution Company in a statement by its Communication Officer, Blessing Tunoh, said" Our thoughts are with all those affected during this difficult time".
She lamented that the disaster has led to significant losses, displacement, injuries and reports of missing persons.
She however urged the affected people to stay safe, follow emergency guidelines and cooperate with local authorities working to restore normalcy.
Blessing Tunoh, said that the company stands in solidarity with the people of Borno State and expressed its sincere hope for a swift receding of the raging water and a speedy recovery of all affected.
