The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas (Iya Adamawa) has joined hundreds of well wishers in felicitating with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for clinching "Africa Man of the Year" award.
Senator Iya Abbas who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology congratulated Fintiri, through his Media Office in Yola, said the award conferred on Fintiri by Future Women Conference.
According to the statement, the prestigious award was in is recognition wih the Governor's tireless efforts and commitment to promoting gender equality and empowerment in Adamawa State.
He further stated that, the Fintiri's leadership has brought about unprecedented opportunities and representation for women in the state, and the people of Adamawa are proud to have him as the Governor of the State
The Senator said, the award will also serves as motivation to the Governor, to continue delivering quality leadership for the overall development of Adamawa State and the Country as a whole.
