ADAMAWA GETS NEW TRANSPORT, TRAFFIC, MOTOR VEHICLE AGENCY



Lawmakers at the Adamawa State House of Assembly have passed a bill for a law to establish the Road Transport, Traffic, and Motor Vehicle Administration Agency.


The passage of the new bill followed its 3rd reading at the resumed plenary session on Monday, presided by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley.


The Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Ahmed Jingi Belel, who represents Maiha constituency moved for the 3rd reading of the bill and seconded by Hon. Musa Mahmud Kallamu, of Mayo Belwa constituency respectively.


Thereafter, the Speaker of the assembly directed the clerk to the assembly to prepare a clean copy of the bill for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's assent.
