ADAMAWA: POLICE NAB 4 "SHILA" BOYS TERRORISING Y/NORTH

 


In its ongoing efforts to create an enabling environment and maintain peace and security across the state, the Adamawa State Police Command has again arrested four suspected individuals terrorizing parts of Jambutu, in Yola North Local Government Area.


The suspects include Sadiq Usman, 20, Abba Ibrahim,18, Abdul Jibrin, 20, and Labaran Muhammed, 20, were apprehended at Geriyo Junction around 2 a.m.


SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Spokesman of the Police Command, said that the suspects were arrested in possession of some dangerous weapons, including a dagger and a knife, and were also smoking dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.


"These arrests followed several complaints of robbery and theft from communities in the area. The suspects are currently in police custody for further investigations and more recoveries 


He said that the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, assured the public of the command's continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
