The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, has convened an action plan meeting to curtail crime and criminality during ember months.
CP Dankombo held the meeting with Area Commanders, Operational, Commanders, Divisional police officers, Heads of Departments, amongst others.
The meeting was aimed at reflecting on accomplishments, portraying future strategies, and reinforcing the commitment to protecting lives and property and maintaining law and order across the state.
The meeting equally focused on decisive action plans to further strategize to sustain the tempo during ember months to achieving operational excellence in service delivery to all citizens.
Highlighting the achievements recorded, the CP said that the command raided criminal hideouts, arrested and prosecuted "shila boys, had joint operations with sister security agencies, improved immediate response to distressed and emergencies, and constant community policing engagement initiatives with Stakeholders.
The CP had while showcasing the dedication and resilience of our officers in ensuring the safety of citizens, noted that the successes were recorded in combating kidnapping, armed robbery, herders/farmers clashes and violent crimes.
He reiterated the commitment to transparency and effective communication with the public, assuring that he will continue to work diligently to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, maintain law and order, promote teamwork, enhance synergy and keep the state safe.
