Adamawa State Police Command has tasked vehicle owners on e-CMR registration system for the safety of their vehicles.
A statement by the Spokesman of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, on Tuesday, urged the public particularly vehicle owners to ensure that their vehicles are registered.
He said, "This initiative is to ensure the validation of vehicle genuineness, ownership and prevent the purchase of stolen vehicles.
"The e-CMR system will effectively track and recover stolen vehicles from far and near.
He urged users to register and obtain the digitalized CMR certificate online at https//cmris.npf.gov.ng and gave the following phone numbers for further enquiries 08117777666, 09169892000 or 07067385337
