Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, of Adamawa State has forwarded 6 names of nominees to the State Assembly for confirmation as Chairman and Members of Bureau for Public Procurement and Fiscal Responsibilty Commission respectively. News Platform
The names were conveyed in a letter signed by Governor Fintiri, asking for expeditious consideration and confirmation of the assembly.
Those nominated for BPP include Mrs. Martina Abba as Chairman, Hon. Hassan Gaigama, Hon. Joab Gambo Gundiri, Hon. Rukaiya Hayatu, and Peter Gowon Joel as Members, while Hon. Kwada Peter is to be screened and confirmed as member of FRC.
The letter was received and read at the assembly by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, while presiding over the plenary recently.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya, constituted an adhoc committee under the Chairmanship of the Member representing Numan constituency, Rt. Hon. Pwamwakeno Mackondo for screening and confirmation.
The members of the adhoc committee include Hon. Emmanuel Kefas (Song), Rt. Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa(Yola South), Hon. Geoffrey Bulus (Leko-Koma) and Rt. Hon. Sunday Peter (Guyuk).
